About Us

We are a group of parents/carers, friends and neighbours of Mersey Vale Primary School.

Our aim is to raise vital funds to enrich our children's experiences at school.

How often do we meet?

We meet half termly to plan and organise community and school events throughout the year. When we have an event coming up, we meet together more regularly to share responsibilities and work together to ensure it is a success.

Who is welcome and needed?

EVERYONE!!!!

If you can spare fifteen minutes, or all day, everyday we would really like your time, help and ideas. Everybody has something to offer, even if it’s just another pair of hands, we would really appreciate your support. If you have young children, please don’t be put off by not coming to the meetings – we welcome all!

How Our Fundraising Events Make A Difference To Our Children

Throughout the year, we hold fundraising events such as fairs, food festivals, discos and non-uniform days to raise vital funds to enrich our children's experiences at Mersey Vale. Due to the generous donations of our whole school community we have been able to subsidise the cost of educational visits, such as our Y6 residential, making it more affordable for our families as well as purchasing exciting resources for our children to use in school.
