What are we reading in Year Five?
This half term we are reading the book, 'Curiosity:the story of a Mars Rover', by Markus Motum and we will be writing explanations and proposals linking to our Earth and Space topic! The children are welcome to bring in their own copies if they wish!
Homework
Homework is always given on a Friday in the children's homework folders. Please make sure it is handed in by the following Thursday so that it can be marked before Friday.
Spellings
Childrens spelling tests take place every Friday. Spellings are uploaded onto SpellingFrame where children can practise at home.
In addition to weekly tests there is a list of Year 5/6 words which children work on throughout upper KS2. These are always available to practise on Spelling Frame and can be downloaded here.
