Watch this space for the latest news, updates and information.

Please ensure that you have joined Class Dojo as regular updates will be shared here via Class Story and separate messages to support communication further.

We hope you have received your welcome packs, been able to join Class Dojo and access Class Stories and individual messaging. Photos and updates are shared regularly re: how your child is settling and to give you an insight into the many experiences your child takes part in to support their development in all areas of learning.

An information sheet was provided in your welcome pack and updates were shared during parent, teacher and child meetings. There is a lot of information for parents on this Nursery Class page re: curriculum and suggestions for supporting learning at home.

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to ask on arrival/ collection and/ or message via Class Dojo.

It has been a pleasure meeting new families and we really appreciate your support and commitment to a smooth and positive transition and induction process for all.

Thank you for your support.

Autumn 1: Ourselves

We are learning a range of songs and rhymes related to ourselves. We are taking part in all sorts of practical and physical activities linked to this topic, learning about each other, similarities, differences, likes and dislikes. Developing self-confidence to have a go and try new things, making friends and exploring our feelings and emotions through songs, stories, in the moment and pre-planned play are key foundations for feeling safe, secure and happy to learn!

Please see Class Dojo for regular updates.

You might like to take a look at the Ourselves Overview - see tabs below.

Home Learning Challenge - All About Me poster: Please complete at home over the next few weeks. Once completed we would really like to share them in class. We have had a few returned already. They are FANTASTIC! Thank you for the time and effort you have put into these.smiley

Home Learning Challenge: October half term

We received a letter from Rainbow Fish asking us to help him to make his scales colourful. Your child will receive a template to take home and the letter will be accessible via Class Dojo. Have fun using any type of media: crayon, pen, paint, collage to make your fishy friend look colourful. You could send a photo of your efforts via Class Dojo Portfolio or messaging. Enjoy!

The link to the Underwater Counting game is accessible below as well.

We have also taken part in all sorts of pre-phonics, early reading, counting, creative and physical activities linked to the 'Under the sea' theme. We are very proud of our creations, including: super starfish, jiggling jellyfish, marvellous magic fish and splendid seaweed. Excellent effort!

There are some lovely books here to share at home together. Happy Reading!
