Arriving at and collecting from School (including Breakfast Club and After School Club)

School is naturally obliged to ensure that our COVID-19 restrictions are followed to protect everyone in school and equally importantly to ensure that as far as possible, bubbles remain open so that parents and carers can remain at work.

As parents and carers know, children should only arrive and be collected at specified times when attending school, Breakfast Club or After School Club. This allows the appropriate flow of children in different bubbles to avoid contact and keeps everybody as safe as possible.

We would like to say a big thank you to the vast majority of parents/carers who have worked with us to ensure that start and end of day procedures run smoothly by arriving in good time to wait for the class bubbles to be allowed into class and registered. This is greatly appreciated by all.

There are (hopefully rare) occasions where it is not possible to arrive on time and please follow the guidance below in such cases. As a general rule, do not enter the gates without approval from school staff, maintain social distancing at all times from other groups of people and ring the school office if in doubt.

Arrival after your class bubble has gone to class – ring school office for instructions. Do not enter through gate or join another bubble’s line. It is likely that you will need to wait for the next class to clear before your child can enter school so please plan for this.

Arriving late for Breakfast Club – arrive at either 8am-8.05am for the early session or 8.15am-8.20am for later session. Arrival after these times will mean that you will need to wait either for the next Breakfast Club session or if arriving after 8.20am you will need to wait for your class bubble’s start time so please plan for this.

Arriving late to collect at end of school day – ring the school office as soon as you know you will be late, advising of the likely time of arrival and follow the instructions provided by the office. Late collection could result in your child being placed into After School Club for which charges will apply.

Arriving late to collect from the After School Club – ring the After School Club on 07931 122897 office as soon as you know you will be late, advising of the likely time of arrival and follow the instructions provided by staff.  Please note that fees for late arrival may be charged.
