Leading Parent Partnership Award (LPPA) final report

Since 2016 we have been working hard to develop and strengthen our partnership with parents. We are delighted to inform you that last half term, following a rigorous assessment process including; presentation to assessor, feedback from children, parents, staff and parent governor, tour of school and scrutiny of evidence collated from the past two years we were awarded the Leading Parent Partnership Award (LPPA).

School is open. Main roads are clear but it is icy on some local roads and on our playgrounds so please take extra care. Wrap up warm and travel safely. Thanks again to Mr Broadbent our fantastic caretaker for clearing and gritting the footpaths.

Healthy Menu Competition Prize Winner

Safa in Y5 was presented with a children’s cookbook in assembly this morning as she created a fantastic menu for a healthy school meal in a competition run by Stockport School Meal’s Service. Well done Safa!


Singing Challenge – Manchester City of Science 2016

To highlight Manchester being European City of Science 2016 everyone in school joined thousands of children across Greater Manchester to sing a special song together at 2pm today. Izzy’s Y6 Leavers’ Song
